Old Milk

So I got up this morning at 5:30am.  The baby was ready for his breakfast and I was ready to burrow back into the covers. It is so cold around here I don't want to get out of bed!  Once the baby was fed and he fell back asleep I decided to do just that, only I couldn't sleep because I decided to get on Facebook.  Seriously I am such a Facebook junkie.  Then once I was on facebook I saw my email was lit up so then it all spiraled and needless to say when my alarm went off at 7am to get my daughter up I was already awake.

Beds made, breakfast made, lunch packed and the house was alive and moving.  My lovely little 5 yr old decided that he was not going to drink his milk this morning. What do I do? Do I make him sit there until he drinks it? Or do I let him get up? This is one battle I am never sure how to approach.  Milk to me is disgusting, and milk sitting out even worse and I know my son is so stubborn that he would sit there and never drink it and the milk would congeal.  Arghh! A fight I never know the answer to.

Once my daughter was off to school I decided that I was going to attempt to get a shower. My five year old was reading quietly and the baby was back down for a nap.  Success happened and I even managed to dry my hair today too.  The baby was awake almost immediately.  We came downstairs and something smelled like old milk. My worst enemy, did I mention milk is disgusting.  Ice cream good milk gross.  On my search of the house for the source of the smell I didn't have luck. Until my five year old pointed out that there was something smelly on me when he hugged me good bye at school. Very loudly I might add in front of the school.  Getting home there it was on the back of my sweater, spit up. Nasty!! and it was in my hair, so much for my shower.
